Privacy policy.
This policy covers the organizing app made by BT Industries LLC (on iOS, Android and the web), which unions and campaigns use to organize and canvass, and this website.
Who is responsible
BT Industries LLC, Midlothian, Virginia, provides the software. The organization that runs your account — the union or campaign you work with — is responsible for the information it keeps in the app. Data an organization holds in the app is also covered by its agreement with BT Industries LLC.
What the app handles
The app handles these kinds of information, all linked to the person’s account or record and used only to run the app:
- Name, email address and phone number — to sign in, to identify organizers and volunteer canvassers, and for outreach by the organization.
- Precise location — only while the app is open (never in the background), to show your position on the walk map and order nearby doors. You can decline the permission.
- Profile photo — optional, from your camera or photo library, shown as your portrait in the app.
- Account and device identifiers — a user ID to sign you in and attribute activity, and a push-notification token if you allow notifications.
- Survey answers and notes — entered by canvassers at the door to record the outcome of a visit. These can describe people who do not use the app (the people being canvassed), and they belong to the organization that collected them.
What we don’t do
We do not use this information for tracking or advertising, and we do not sell or share it. Everything travels over HTTPS.
Service providers
Service providers act on our behalf: map tiles come from Protomaps (which sees tile requests and IP addresses, not account data), push notifications go through Apple and Google, and email is sent through the email service the organization configures.

You can delete your account from inside the app; your organization completes deletion within 30 days. See how to delete your account.
This website
This website has no forms, runs no analytics, advertising trackers or third-party scripts, and sets no cookies of its own. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which keeps standard request logs to run and protect it.
